Buildings in Black & White
All of these scenes have strong memories of weather in them for me. While drawing the “Lime Kiln” it started raining - thank goodness for permanent ink! And the “Central Library” was drawn on an unusually biting cold April morning, with wind chills in the 20’s (farenheit). Drawing till your fingers start to go numb definitely helps to lock in a moment in time!
